初の道外公演は、東京！
専属オルガニストはKitara主催公演だけではなく、Kitaraを飛び出して北海道内外のコンサートにも出演しています。
ファニーさんの初の道外公演は、12/14（土）に東京の武蔵野市民文化会館で開催された「クリスマスオルガンコンサート」でした。
共演はソプラノ歌手の星川 美保子さん。満席の会場に、星川さんの歌声とファニーさんのオルガンの音色がいっぱいに広がり、たくさんのお客さまにお楽しみいただきました。

クリスマスオルガンコンサート開催！
東京訪問後の翌週12/22（日）には、Kitara主催公演2つ目となる「〈JAL presents〉クリスマスオルガンコンサート」に出演しました。
前半は、ファニーさんによるオルガンソロ。故郷フランスでクリスマスの時期に演奏される曲をセレクトしてくれました。合間に挟んだ日本語でのスピーチでは、ジョークを交えるなど、ファニーさんの人柄が垣間見えたのではないでしょうか。
後半は、市立札幌旭丘高校と札幌山の手高校合唱部の学生・卒業生の皆さんとのコラボレーション。澄んだ歌声と温かいオルガンの音色、そしてホール内のクリスマスらしいライトアップが相まって、神聖な気持ちになったコンサートとなりました。

2024年12月14日に、東京の武蔵野市民文化会館でコンサートに出演しました。クリスマスのコンサートで、J.S.バッハ、D.ブクステフーデ、P.チャイコフスキー、O.メシアン、J-F.ダンドリュー、L-C.ダカンなどを演奏しました。また、ソプラノの星川 美保子さんの伴奏でクリスマスキャロルやオルガン曲も演奏しました。
武蔵野でのコンサートにあわせて東京を散策しました。東京ほど大きな都市を見たのは初めてでした！東京国立博物館に行き、常設の展示を見学しました。侍の武器、伝統衣装、絵画、陶器などがありました。博物館の建物や庭園は東京のど真ん中にあるのですが、非常に心地のよい場所でした。また、森美術館も訪問しました。現代アートを中心とした森美術館では、フランス人芸術家のルイーズ・ブルジョワ（1911-2010）の企画展が開催されていました。企画展の副題（「地獄から帰ってきたところ 言っとくけど、素晴らしかったわ」）は、展示の内容を適切に反映していると感じました。多様な媒体（彫刻、絵画、インスタレーションなど）を通じて、ルイーズ・ブルジョワは自身の人生におけるトラウマを表現し、それを昇華させていました。
12月22日にはKitaraでクリスマスコンサートに出演しました。前半はクリスマスシーズンにちなんだオルガン曲を演奏しました。休憩後の後半は、大木先生の指揮のもと旭丘高校と山の手高校の合唱部の伴奏をしました。
クリスマス時期を日本で過ごしたので、日本でクリスマスがどのように祝われているかを知ることができました。フランスと日本ではクリスマスのお祝いの方法が異なっています。フランスでは12月24・25日は家族で過ごしますが、大晦日は友人と過ごします。クリスマスには真夜中のミサに参加するために教会に行く人もいますし、サンタクロースは飾りつけをしたツリーの周りにプレゼントを置いてくれます。伝統的なクリスマスの食事は、七面鳥と、もちろん、たくさんのチーズとワインです！デザートには「buche（ブッシュ）」を食べます。このケーキの名前を文字通りに訳すと「薪」となるのですが、もちろん本物の木のことではありません。丸太の形のケーキで、スポンジにコーヒー、チョコレート、時にはリキュールで味付けしたバタークリームを塗ります。とても美味しいですよ！ですが、日本とフランスの最大の違いは、家族との過ごし方です。フランスでは夕食の席で政治や時事問題についてたくさん話をします。注目の話題は、エマニュエル・マクロンが任命した（2024年で4人目の）新首相のフランソワ・バイル、マヨット島に甚大な被害をもたらしたサイクロン「チド」、ウクライナでの戦争、シリアのバッシャール・アル＝アサド政権の崩壊などです。
年末の休暇を利用して、東北と道南を旅行しました。倶知安、ニセコ、函館、盛岡、青森、登別に行きました。あるレストランでクジラの刺身を発見したのですが、1986年以降、環境保全の観点から商業捕鯨モラトリアムにより捕鯨が禁止されていることもあり、非常に驚きました。大晦日はいろいろな種類のおせちを味わいました。非常に美しく、とても美味しかったです。露天風呂にも初挑戦しました。お湯がとても熱かったので入るのに苦労しましたが、一度入ってしまうととても気持ちがよく、温まりながら美しい雪景色を眺めることができました。
皆さまの2025年もよい一年になりますように。今年もコンサートで皆さまにお会いできることを楽しみにしています。
On December 14 2024, I gave a concert at Tokyo's Musashino Civic Hall. It was a Christmas concert in which I played pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, Dietrich Buxtehude, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Olivier Messiaen as well as Jean-Francois Dandrieu and Louis-Claude Daquin. I also accompanied soprano Mihoko Hoshikawa in a number of Christmas carols and organ pieces.
I took advantage of the concert to discover Tokyo: I'd never seen such a big city! I visited the permanent exhibition of the Tokyo National Museum, where I saw samurai weapons, traditional clothing, paintings and pottery. The buildings and the Museum's gardens, located in the middle of Tokyo, are very soothing. I also visited the Mori Museum. This contemporary art museum presented an exhibition of works by French artist Louise Bourgeois (1911-2010). The exhibition's subtitle ("I've been to hell and back. And let me tell you, it was wonderful") aptly reflects the content of the exhibition: through various media (sculptures, drawings, installations, etc.), Louise Bourgeois presents some of the traumas of her life and manages to sublimate them.
On December 22, I gave a Christmas concert in Kitara. In the first half, I played organ pieces related to the Christmas season. After intermission, I accompanied the choir from Asahigaoka High School and Yamanote High School members conducted by Ooki-sensei.
I stayed in Japan over Christmas, so I discovered how the festive season is celebrated here. The way Christmas is celebrated is different in France and Japan: in France, December 24 and 25 are days spent with family, while New Year's Eve is spent with friends. For Christmas, some people go to church to attend midnight mass. Santa Claus places presents around the decorated tree. The traditional Christmas meal is turkey and, of course, lots of cheese and wine! For dessert, we eat a “buche”. The literal translation of the name of this cake is “log”, but it's obviously not a real wooden log. It's a log-shaped cake with a sponge cookie and buttercream flavored with coffee, chocolate or even liqueur. Very tasty! But the biggest difference between France and Japan is that at family gatherings, we talk a lot about politics and current affairs at the dinner table. The main topics will certainly be Emmanuel Macron's appointment of Francois Bayrou as Prime Minister (the 4th in a year!!), the damage caused by cyclone Chido in Mayotte, the war in Ukraine, the fall of Bashar al-Assad in Syria, etc....
I took advantage of a few days' vacation to visit the Tohoku region and southern Hokkaido: I went to Kutchan, Niseko, Hakodate, Morioka, Aomori and Noboribetsu. In one restaurant, I found whale sashimi. This came as a great surprise to me, as since 1986, an international moratorium has prohibited whaling in the interests of environmental protection. For New Year's Eve, I tasted lots of different osechi. It was very beautiful and very good. It was my first time in an outdoor onsen. I had a hard time getting into the water because it was really hot, but once I was in, I found it very pleasant to look out over a beautiful snow-covered landscape in the warmth.
